Argument. The harder problem is not why the loop is lit but that it happens at all: once the language handle can grip its own pointing, a finite arrangement holds the universe — and because at that layer scope is free (magnitude is only metadata), 'whoa, I'm in a universe' is the first thing that happens, not an achievement; the vertigo is the self-grip failing to close, offered as what the framework predicts; and the reach always arrives ahead of the steering.
